Novara, Italy – november 10^th – 11^st, 2022

The study visit of the Erasmus + project CoreVET “Cooperation of enterprises with vocational training schools – on the example of competency labs in Italian schools”, of which Novareckon is partner, took place on 10^th and 11^st November in Novara.

Novareckon organized the stay of the project leader Heuresis and the Polish delegation, made up of experts in the fields of education, tourism, chemistry and HR, who visited ITI Omar, I.P.S. Ravizza and  IBIS Consortium (Innovative BIo-based and Sustainable products and processes) in Fondazione Novara Sviluppo.

On the 10^th of November, Heuresis and the Polish experts visited the ITI OMAR, where they could acquainted with the functioning of Laboratories of Competences in the field of chemistry, biotechnology and other industrial sectors, and how schools support students in looking for a job and an employer.

In the afternoon they had the chance of visiting  IBIS Consortium in Fondazione Novara Sviluppo, a great technological center and incubator of new technologies – especially chemical and biotechnological. They learned how the Foundation cooperates with vocational education by organizing events promoting industries as a place of interesting and future-oriented work.

On the second day of their visit, they went to I.P.S. Ravizza. Their attention and appreciation was aroused by the way in which professional integration of students with disabilities is carried out and how students are taught using project methods. They showed particular interest in the organization of PCTO activities, the paths for transversal skills and orientation, the so-called school-work alternation, the flagship of the Novara Institute which allows the school to be connected to the entrepreneurial fabric of the territory.
